JOSÉ LUIS GORDILLO
Born in Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla. In the 60 he combined his studies with his training to be admitted to the School of Arts and Crafts in Sevilla. During the 70 he devoted himself to portraits for which he was commissioned, coordinating this artistic activity with his job in the banking sector.
He has taken part in numerous exhibitions since the 80s in many prestigious galleries, hotels, and lounges.
Currently, his work is exhibited in various parts of the country, and sold steadily in Sorolla Art Gallery.
"The work of José Luis Gordillo consists in Andalusian experiences: light, color, life, sensitivity and manners, as part of a whole. The manners of our land are reflected in his color palette with an impressionist influence.
