In her paintings the Mediterranean light vibrates under the morning sky and seems to be lulled by singsong breezes.
Born to a family of artists, Montse had the best teacher: her father, from whom she learned to mix colors in the canvas and to transfer to it everything she saw. Because Montse's painting is life itself, seen through her young eyes, under the warm Mediterranean sun. She knows how to manifest through his work, rich colors and a perfect design, which are in the best tradition of the Levantine painting.
She puts a lot of feeling in her paintings, as they are an emotional work, not a mental one. Hence that in their apparent calmness we can also perceive the troubles of her inner world made tangible by her brush- strokes.
A common denominator describes her paintings: sincerity, which is perfect when coupled with insight.
