Born in Muro de Alcoy (Alicante) in 1950. His inclination for painting led him to enter the School of Fine Arts in Alcoy (Alicante) at a very young age, where he studied art and modelling. Afterwards, and due to economic interests, he worked as a textile draughtsman, combining his work with painting, attending in his free time a Sorolla painter's studio, where he began to specialise in oil painting.
